Spa Hotels and Spas in Midhurst
Relax, unwind and escape with our selection of spas in Midhurst. There's a perfect spa experience for everyone.
In the South Downs National Park in West Sussex, Midhurst is a pretty market town known for its medieval buildings and nearby natural beauty. Spa days and breaks in Midhurst are a delicious combination of warm hospitality, pottering around the shops, good food, fresh air and soothing spa treatments.
Boutiques, cafes and pretty architecture characterise the town, and while it’s wonderful to have plenty of activities and entertainment on a weekend away, sometimes the greatest joy is having a coffee and watching the world go by. That said, there are lots of popular activities in the area. Perhaps the most well known is the South Downs National Park itself - perfect for hiking, exploring the unique heathland and watching the rare birds and wildlife.
Cowdray Park is also a beautiful estate which you can visit, perhaps best known for its polo club. Perhaps you can watch a match in the summer months. Local museums and tea rooms are a joy, while a little further afield you might choose to visit one of a number of English vineyards.
Spas in and around Midhurst and the South Downs embody the history and natural beauty of the area. The 15th century inn, Spread Eagle Hotel & Spa, is a romantic place to stay, especially if you opt for the Queen’s Suite, said to have accommodated Elizabeth I in 1591. Around 45-minutes away in total seclusion, you will also find the highly luxurious South Lodge where the spa is built into the landscape.
