Polurrian on The Lizard has re-opened with a whole new look

Laidback vibes, a cool bar, spectacular views and the best local Cornish ingredients. They’re set to put Cornish peninsula The Lizard on the map at Polurrian (named after the nearby cove).

Cornwall’s Polurrian on The Lizard hotel and spa opened its doors this Easter to great excitement and anticipation.

What you can expect

Located on the reassuringly unspoiled Lizard Peninsula, the communal areas of the 41- bedroom hotel have been refurbished with a twist. The result is a stylish and relaxing environment with an enhanced lifestyle offering.

Key features at Polurrian on The Lizard include the restaurant’s Gozney wood fired oven. There are also several guest spaces such as a chill out area with retro seating and a customised waltzer. A decadent new bar offers a marvellous selection of rums, gins, beers and wines from Cornwall. They also have a tantalisting cocktail list; perfect for sipping whilst watching the sun set over Mount’s Bay.

Local ingredients, Mediterranean twist

The restaurant’s woodfired oven is perfect for hand-stretched pizzas. The new menu is inspired by the rustic dishes and bold flavours of the Mediterranean.

All food is made using the finest produce from Cornwall’s countryside and coastline. Dishes include tapas starters, locally caught fish and mouth-watering desserts including the famous Roskilly’s ice cream.
