The Garden Secret Spa has a touch of the Victorian botanical garden to it, with delicious facilities including a blossom steam room, a herbal sauna, and Himalayan salt sauna with woodland views into the gardens.
A five-star country house hotel in East Sussex that once held connections to the poet Percy Bysshe Shelley, Alexander House is a fusion of luxury styles brought together through exemplary hospitality. Meanwhile, the spa is a lesson in indulgence, it is an adult-only space and surrounded by beautiful grounds. So it’s the perfect place to spoil your mum on Mother’s Day.
A Grade II listed mansion in Hertfordshire surrounded by a spectacular golf course, The Grove is a special place with a luxury country house feel but close to London. Sequoia meanwhile is an exquisite spa with an ozone-filtered pool, a cafe and treatments from Natura Bissé and ESPA.
The Spa at Carden is a game changing spa experience. On a 1000 acre estate in Cheshire, it's an adult-only retreat where you can go for a full day of experiences or extend your getaway to an overnight break. Offering luxury and really meaningful wellness experiences, the hotel is beautiful, complete with its own on-site vineyard, its own English sparkling wine and two on-site 18 hole golf courses. The spa combines a two-storey building containing a wide range of pools and thermal facilities, with a 2,500 square metre spa garden that you can experience all year round. Treatments are from Elemental Herbology, and we suggest you finish the day in the Bollinger Champagne bar.
Hoar Cross Hall is an Elizabethan manor house surrounded by 50 acres of grounds and gardens. The hotel is impressive. Surrounded by 50 acres of immaculate grounds, it's brimming with five-star facilities. Interiors are beautiful, there's a variety of activities including cycling, tennis, archery, croquet and boules and when it comes to dining, the vegetables are grown in the estate’s own greenhouses. The spa is the jewel in its crown however, with an iconic a 26-metre saltwater vitality pool flanked by two whirlpools. There is a plunge pool, saunas, steam rooms, saunariums, body jets, foot and shoulder massagers, Kneipp pools, heated loungers, a Snooze Room, and a Slumber Lounge. The spa also offers more than 40 treatments from Clarins, Elemis, Spa Find, Jessica, and Aromatherapy Associates.
In the Usk Valley in South Wales, Celtic Manor provides luxury on a grand scale. It is only fitting for a venue as large and with such an international reputation as Celtic Manor that the spa is an all-singing, all-dancing health Mecca. As such, the spa has a range of facilities including a 20-metre pool overlooking the Rooftop Garden and an Elemis Herbal Steam in a chamber where small lights mimic the constellations, which is a lovely space to spend time together.
The spa at Whittlebury Hall is huge, and the hotel has so much to offer, whether you visit for a day or weekend. Stau in one of the 254 rooms at the four-star hotel, enjoying a relaxed, fun and welcoming atmosphere. The spa is really somewhere to spend an entire day, with a vast array of heat and ice experiences including an aromatherapy crystal steam, caldarium, experience showers, foot spas, a hydrotherapy pool, ice cave, roman salt steam, sanarium and tepidarium. There's a separate swimming pool and gym, with their own sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi. A favourite feature, of course, are the treatments. There are 23 treatment rooms including a hammam chamber and rasul room, and the spa uses a combination of ESPA and Elemis product lines. It's a lovely place to spend time with loved ones, especially mums.
This grand country house is home to one of the most contemporary and state of the art spas in the UK. An adult only retreat, it opened its doors in 2017 and has continued to add to its exceptional features. Chief amongst them perhaps, is the spa garden with its infinity hydrotherapy pool and a myriad of other facilities, such as an oxygen pod, Kneipp footbaths, saunas and steam rooms that use herbs from the garden.
