    Very Good
The spa day was good and staff were friendly. This was a birthday gift for my friend. We arrived around 10:15 and our treatments weren’t until 11, we completed our questionnaire and the friendly receptionist got up a cup of tea. We where then shown to the changing rooms and directed to the pool area, we where given a dressing gown towel and disposable slippers (these are extremely slippy especially where the showers are and around the pool area) I’d suggest not wearing as the floors where wet a lot. The loungers aren’t the comfiest to kick back and chill and there’s no other chill room for those using the spa. The therapist arrived at 11 and asked for myself and my friend was told to wait for her therapist, when I returned an hour later from my treatments she was still waiting, the booking said 11 so we had expected that we’d be taken at the same time, I went to ask reception and no one seemed to know. She was then taken 10 minutes later, these are the details that change the experience. We both enjoyed our treatments and then got ready to go for our afternoon tea. The staff when we arrived at the restaurant continued talking amongst themselves and I had to say excuse me to get someone to talk to. The staff were polite just not quick to respond to customers. The afternoon tea was nice, lots of eating and we couldn’t finish, it would have been nice to have more than sandwiches as a savoury option but this is just a preference. Overall it was enjoyable just a few snags which would have made it perfect.

    Excellent
The spa itself is quite small, only a sauna, steam room, swimming pool and 6 loungers, however it wasn't a problem as there were only a few other guests while we were there. The massages were lovely and relaxing, but the highlight was the lunch in Itchycoo restaurant - I had the smoked salmon on malted bread and the chocolate and salted caramel torte for dessert. Both were delicious!
