Spa Hotels and Spas in Great Malvern
Relax, unwind and escape with our selection of spas in Great Malvern. There's a perfect spa experience for everyone.
Part of the spa town of Malvern in Worcestershire, Great Malvern sits at the foot of the Malvern Hills, which is a designated AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty). A place that became famous for its healing waters, as far as spa destinations go it couldn't be more perfect.
A historic location, Great Malvern is entirely unique. It grew up around its ancient priory, which was founded in the 11th century and still exists today. However, it became popular for hydrotherapy in the 1800s and retains a sense of Victorian elegance to this day.
When it comes to things to see, Great Malvern Priory is definitely worth a visit. Architecturally, it's inspiring, and historically it has stories to tell. Once a Benedictine monastery, it was a daughter house to Westminster Abbey, which gives you an idea of its grandeur.
Beyond the centre of Great Malvern itself, there's an enormous amount of natural beauty to explore and a variety of historic monuments to visit from National Trust properties to Easton Castle.
Visit Malvern's other town centres, Barnards Green and Malvern Link, all of which have something different to offer by way of shops, galleries and boutiques. There's also music and theatre festivals held in the Winter Gardens or hiking, cycling, paragliding or fishing in the Malvern Hills.
Spa days and breaks in and near Malvern celebrate the natural beauty as well as the heritage of the area. The aptly named The Malvern epitomises the experience. It is an adult-only health spa using natural springs to feed its pools, and it is complete with an award-winning restaurant and impressive views of the surrounding area.
