Stop the press and prepare for a summer spa break with a luxurious alfresco twist. Just as we head into the peak of the warmer months (we hope), the magnificent Hoar Cross Hall Spa Hotel has added a new dimension to its celebrated experience with the launch of The Spa Terrace.
Part of Spabreaks.com's Elysium Collection, Hoar Cross Hall has always been known for offering exceptional service. The hotel is a favourite for romantic getaways and special occasions, the gardens are immaculate, and the spa is a haven of award-winning wellness.
Bringing all of that together however, they have now added The Spa Terrace - an outdoor wellbeing space harnessing the healing elements of earth, water, fire and air - perfect for summer.
Set within the hotel's breathtaking grounds, the outdoor space takes relaxation to new heights with a series of pools and technologies to optimise health and enhance feel-good-factor.
Three beautifully tiled spa pools sit side by side, wrapped in lavender-filled planters. They feature massage jets, seating and 38-degree water heated by a sustainable biomass boiler, to help soothe muscle and joint pain, flush out toxins, reduce stress and stimulate lymphatic drainage.
There are also two Brass Monkey Cold Barrels for cold water immersion therapy. Maintaining temperatures as low as an icy 3-degrees, they help to boost endorphins, renew a sense of calm, promote relaxation and uplift mood.
Thankfully, this is just a hop, skip and a jump from the juniper log sauna - a distinctive glass-fronted sauna overlooking the pools and offering a wealth of benefits from improving blood circulation and removing harmful toxins, to overcoming fatigue and relieving muscle cramps.
Surrounding the pools are six spacious cabanas, giving the feeling that you're in tropical climates, shaded from the sun thanks to an adjustable canopy, and boasting a ‘ring for refreshments’ bell. Meanwhile, for post-treatment rest, there is an exquisite calming Relax Room just off the terrace, where there are eight adjustable relaxation beds and a stylish hydration station.
Completing the experience is a bar and lounge area adjacent to the terrace. It’s decorated with 100-year-old reclaimed tiles from the sherry-producing vineyards of Jerez in southern Spain, and serves everything from seasonal cocktails to Veuve Clicquot Champagne, as well as small plates throughout the day.
Ensuring you can stay and enjoy this beautifully designed space late into the evening, two roaring fire pits light the evening sky from either end of the terrace, so you can settle into the spacious cushioned seating and cosy-up under the stars.
We can't wait to visit! Can you?
