In a world of four legged friends, puppy love is not just reserved for The Osmonds. For many of us, no one is a more loyal companion than our dogs, and taking them to your spa hotel of choice makes the whole experience complete.
On a 1,065 acre estate, Luton Hoo is as much a paradise for pets as it is for people. You potter off and have your spa treatment, and for a £30.00 supplement your pooch can chill out in the gardens and will also be given dinner (one meal per day), a bowl, bed, ball or toy and treats.
Sniffing around the South Downs and settling in the courtyard, Spread Eagle Hotel and Spa welcomes dogs to stay the night surrounded by the historic town of Midhurst. For £25 per night per dog (up to two dogs per room), dogs stay in the room with you and are welcome everywhere with the exception of the spa and restaurant.
A spectacularly beautiful and romantic escape in Yorkshire, Raithwaite Sandsend offers exceptional spa facilities, food and a beautiful location. Surrounded by elegant gardens and 80 acres of National Park beyond, it’s a haven for dogs and owners alike.There are dog-friendly rooms and furry friends and their owners enjoy leisurely walks around the grounds and gardens, to nearby Sandsend beach and on the North York Moors. Dog-friendly rooms are located in The Hide, a separate building to the main hotel in the forest near the main entrance, and pets stay for a supplement of £15 per pet per night.
Overlooking the Fowey Estuary, Fowey Hall is a seaside retreat that inspired The Wind in the Willows. These days it’s still as inspirational as it was to Kenneth Grahame and welcomes the whole family including the dog with lots to entertain the kids, including collecting eggs from the hotel chickens. Dogs are welcome at this blissful retreat, staying in the main house rooms for £15 per dog, per night. They ask you keep dogs out of the dining areas and on the lead in public areas.
A historic red brick building that makes you feel like royalty, Tylney Hall is a glamorous destination surrounded by beautiful grounds. It’s perfect for walking around so bringing the dog seems like an obvious choice, which you can do for £25 per night to give him/her their own basket, blankets, bowl and chewy toy. The concierge can provide a map of walking trails within the estate, and there are dog-friendly ground floor garden rooms which are set within our 66 acres of historic gardens and parkland. They can also provide healthy meals and snacks are supplied by Arden Grange pet foods.
Surrounded by acres of gardens and blissful tranquility, Ockenden Manor invites you to enjoy a contemporary spa inspired by nature, alongside an Elizabethan Manor. Together the whole experience is charming and made better by the welcome presence of man/woman’s best friend, who may join free of charge as long as he/she behaves.
This elegant hotel and estate are a blissful location for rest and relaxation. At Ashdown Park you can spend time exploring the 186-acre estate within Ashdown Forest with your four-legged friend in tow. There are dog-friendly hotel rooms in the Fairway Suites, with french doors that open directly out onto the parkland, complete with a private terrace. Dogs are also given their own dog basket, blanket & bowls for the duration of their stay along with dinner and a staycation goody bag from Arden Grange, all for a fee of £30.00 per dog, per room.
Dogs are provided with dog beds, towels, bowls, a couple of biscuits and poo bags readily available in your room. Whilst your dog is in your room and you are in the restaurant, they offer a complimentary dog-listening service. There are lots of walking routes to enjoy, and even a dog shower in the grounds complete with hose, dog shampoo and towels so they're presentable after their jaunt. There are also water bowls peppered about and a log fire to relax by in the evening.
