Spabreaks.com sponsors the 2019 Welsh Hotel Awards
This month Spabreaks.com sponsors the Welsh Hotel Awards, rewarding the excellence of Wales’ hotel industry, including the superb spa hotels that Wales has to offer.
Recognising both the individuals and teams who have demonstrated that they go above and beyond, as well as rewarding hotels that prove to be the best in their field, the 2019 Welsh Hotel Awards celebrates all areas of service. That includes business and management, chefs and restaurant teams, the spa teams, front of house and grounds teams.
The awards will also recognise destinations as a whole, celebrating B&Bs, luxury hotels in a selection of categories from country houses to boutique destinations, and hotels based on their lifestyle offerings from family friendly destinations to golf resorts.
The scope of the awards aligns with Spabreaks.com’s central passion, showcasing the wide variety of spa and leisure experiences that are available, and that should each be celebrated in their own right and for their own merits and characters.
Believing that there is a spa experience for every individual and occasion, as well as knowing the intrinsic value that each individual’s attention to detail and personal integrity for their work brings to the hospitality experience, the awards are an opportunity for us to share in the celebration of that ethos by focusing on the hospitality community in Wales.
“Celebrating and acknowledging the hard work of individuals within the spa and hotel industries is so incredibly important because it’s the individuals that make all the difference to the experiences that we have. As places where we can find solace, rest and recuperation as well as quality time together hotels and spas have the opportunity to play an important role in our wellbeing and our enjoyment of our leisure time, and Wales has so much to offer from its B&Bs to its country house hotels. It’s a great pleasure to be a part of that celebration.”
Self-care has become a booming industry associated with athleisure and time out - all of which we value, but its roots go much deeper than that, with the term itself linked to the 1950s and civil rights activists.
