Seaham Hall, the exceptional spa hotel that fuses historic grandeur, exceptional natural surroundings and unrivalled contemporary hospitality, has opened its new Zen Garden and boy was it worth waiting for!

Seaham Hall Zen Garden

The new outdoor space is the latest part of a £3million refurbishment programme that began in 2012 and is a response to the growing customer interest across the board in wellbeing, including the peace of Feng Shui.

Fusing the healing power of plants with a beautifully designed space with contemporary architectural influences, the Zen Garden is an oval space surrounded by bespoke relaxation beds. A meditative environment which encourages guests to “escape the madness of the modern world”, it also features an infinity hydrotherapy pool with jets.

The Zen Garden adds to the services already available at the 44,000sq ft Seaham Hall Spa, which features treatment rooms, an indoor pool, outdoor hot tubs, three thermal rooms and a Pan-Asian restaurant, The Ozone.

The spa is also known to have an ongoing commitment to increasing therapist knowledge and education, this year introducing cancer touch therapy having enlisted the support of the Made for Life by Spiezia Organics Cancer Touch Therapy training course for seven of their highly experienced therapists including their spa director, Davina Hassell.

The Zen Garden launches at the perfect time of year for this exceptional summer we are experiencing, and provides a meaningful extension to the spa experience, offering guests time to really step back and unwind. It is a holistic addition that shows that Seaham Hall is really listening to the increasing customer awareness of wellbeing with a mind and body approach.

What are you waiting for? Let’s go!
