A lovely sanctuary in Cheadle perfect for a quick fix beauty treatment, this spa offers a haven of peace amidst the hustle and bustle of everyday life. There’s a relaxation room and treatment rooms for massages and body therapies as well as facials, ensuing you will reach new levels of relaxation with the added benefit of a feel-good glow.     I had a massage and spa package booked. My back massage and facial was probably one of the best massage experiences I’ve had and the beauty/therapists were so friendly and welcoming. The actual spa facilities inside David Lloyd were mind blowing. I’ve been in quite a few spas but this beats all of them. I just expected a steam and sauna but there’s a whole area of facilities and you could easily spend a good couple of hours in there. I was not given a fob to access the outdoor facilities which was an inconvenience having to wait around for others to let me in. My only disappointing criticism is that I find the David Lloyd staff completely incompetent. The young staff on the reception in the cafe just seemed to lack all of the skills required in customer service. Avoided eye contact, didn’t look happy, didn’t pay attention. Myself and others who had ordered coffees had to get up and remind them again 10 minutes later that they hadn’t brought our coffee. They didn’t know anything about gluten intolerance or what dishes would contain gluten and just lacked basic manners and communication skills. However I find this arrogant attitude present in most David Lloyd staff so maybe it’s a requirement. Apart from that the rest of the experience was amazing and hopefully the David Lloyd staff can learn good customer service skills from the beaty/spa team :) Would book again. Kind regards Jess

    The massage therapists were great, very communicative and, helpful. I have anxiety and they made me very comfortable. It was a lovely day, definitely worth the money.

    Great facilities and excellent value - we booked the Winter Treat, which has three treatments included. The outdoor heated facilities were lovely and the sauna/steam rooms were great, with plenty of cold options (plunge pool, ice room, cold shower) available for alternating. We didn’t stay for food, so cannot comment. Also quite difficult to get through on the phone, as there is only one number for the whole Pure Spa group, which puts you through to Bath.

    I had an amazing day. The massage and facial were wonderful, so relaxing and just what I needed. The spa itself was clean and the staff were really friendly. Obviously, because the spa is situated within the David Lloyd gym itself and use of their facilities is part of the package, all I would say is to check the times of any classes around the pool area otherwise you could find yourself at an Ibiza pool rave whilst trying to have a relaxing swim. Also, worth asking at the David Lloyd reception for a card to scan you into the jacuzzi/sauna area. Finally, on booking I would give spabreak.com a ring just to check your appointment time as I didn't receive one and call on a weekday as I couldn't get through on a weekend.

    Can't speak for the food because we didn't eat there, but he spa facilities were excellent, 2 steam rooms and 3 saunas, cold room, 2 Jacuzzis, and other things too. Brill Treatments were great and the staff were very kind and friendly
