    Very Good
The overall spa day was great and the treatments were really good. However, the hot tub wasn’t working on the day we booked so would have been nice be be offered some sort of compensation or something complimentary due to this.

The treatment was lovely. But that was where it ended unfortunately. The jacuzzi was out of service, the sauna was so hot I burnt my leg, the steam room was OK but too much menthol, the pool was cold and with so many loungers on the edge it felt like a spectator sport as I was alone in the pool with 8 women laying watching me. The chairs were wet. The heated loungers weren't on and the hot/cold shower was cold no matter which button was pressed. The changing room has no privacy so women were naked everywhere meaning I changed in the toilet as I'd rather not stand naked in front of strangers. The restaurant had 2 staff, one who didn't know what was going on and one who was fixing everything, but they were often not there for long periods of time. The pizza was lovely, but £4.50 for the chips was excessive for the quantity and the dessert was a dry slab of cake. I was happy for a soft drink alternative. Overall I'm glad I went, but I won't be returning especially with a voucher to use.

    Good
Staff were helpful and friendly, breakfast was great, loads to choose from. Dinner was nice, expensive for what it is but the £32 towards it definitely helps. Hotel is clean and tidy. I enjoyed my massage. But thats where it ends. Got in our room and the heating didn't work, got changed to a different room. New room free upgrade, we were watching TV and the store information is on the tv screen, which it moves around, is bright white so hurts your eyes and very annoying. We couldn't get it off. The shower in the hotel room needs a different head on it. Beds comfy but too hard. We slept OK ish. The facilities were the let down for us. Pool was a nice size but only 1.2m no deep end. Cold. Spa and sauna were nice but only fit 8-10 people so lots of waiting around for a space. Only 2 heated seats which were only heated for 1 day. The jacuzzi was like white water rafting. One setting - on hard. Only seats 3-4 people legs tounching, the jets are too powerful for the size that it can be painful to sit in and it's the size of a puddle. Kids times are 4-7pm but they were there all the time. About 12 chair/loungers around the pool that were full. So the 1st day we only spent 45min in there as it was too busy with 30-40 people there. Thought we would go in there Sunday evening after the kids session and everything else in the area closed and found it shut at 7.30 on a Sunday which was disappointing as nobody is in there anyway so it could have stayed open. Our spa treatment was nice a relaxing however, like the rest of the hotel it was freezing in there. Not good where your nearly naked. The relaxing room were supplied with blankets as the seats and room were cold. The 3 showers on the 1st day wasn't working by the pool. On the second day one was working but only freezing water. Big hold in the wall and tiles. They left it all the debris there and put a plant pot in front of it.

    Excellent
The staff were extremely helpful and couldn't do enough to make our spa day as pleasant as possible. The pool, sauna, jacuzzi, and steam room were all great. My sister in law and I tried them all. It was very relaxing. After a set lunch we went for our treatments. We had the Little Taste of Heaven spa day but one of us wanted to swap the nail file & polish and the other the toe file & polish. This was no problem at all. The team were excellent. The consultants we had were superb at their jobs. The back & neck massage was perfect as was the facial. We would recommend it to anyone. I would like to thank the team at Spabreaks for all their help with the change of dates etc over two years; they were marvellous. Thank you.
