UK Weekend Breaks
Relax, unwind and escape with our selection of Weekend Breaks spas. There's a perfect spa experience for everyone.
Making the most of your down time and managing to extract the most benefit from it isn’t always easy. You might think you have a whole Saturday free, but by the time you’ve loaded the dishwasher or spent half the morning getting absorbed in the white noise of social media, just how beneficial has it really been? A weekend spa day or break is an opportunity to use that time for the kind of meaningful relaxation that makes you feel as though you’ve had a week long holiday.
How does this sound? Start your day with the smell of essential oils and a welcome drink - perhaps a herbal tea or a smoothie as you sit and take in countryside views. Stroll in spa gardens and enjoy your own meandering thoughts or a heart to heart with a friend. Let muscle ache melt away in a myriad of pools, saunas and steam rooms. Tuck into a leisurely lunch - healthy or indulgent - it’s your choice. Then read your favourite book or magazine, unapologetically forgetting what time it is and knowing there’s no limit on the amount you have. Maybe you will even have a treatment or two to make you feel completely cared for.
That said, while a weekend spa day is a thing of joy and beauty, sometimes a day just isn’t enough. It’s amazing the impact that adding an overnight stay can do - perfect for making the most of a weekend spa break. Perhaps you will choose to dress up for a sumptuous three course dinner and have a cocktail or two. Then collapse into your ostentatiously large bed, knowing there’s no alarm to be set for the morning. Before you head home, remember to take your time over breakfast. After all, it’s the most important meal of the day - and one of the most wonderful things about a weekend spa break.
