    The location lends itself to a little bit of outdoor exploration as well as having the added appeal of the thermal suite, making it a good option for those looking for a gentle day out with a little bit of everything. There is an eighteen-hole golf course complete with driving range where staff are extremely helpful and friendly.

    With triple rooms and a variety of activities, the venue caters well to groups and hen parties.
  • Accessible Spa
    The hotel offers three adapted rooms with pull cord alarms, and ground floor access to the restaurant and bar. Due to a series of steps however the spa is not accessible for wheelchairs. Carers are invited to accompany guests and use the facilities free of charge. On overnight packages bed and breakfast are also offered free of charge for a carer on a shared room basis with the guest.

    The experience was a disappointing one. Although prior to our visit, Ufford staff had been in contact to explain that the thermal spa, in particular the hydro pool and thermal spa sauna were out of order, the promise that the other facilities being available was not realised. On first use of the foot spa, a tile broke off, the mineral grotto, although available to use was dirty and the aroma room was not functioning. It was not possible to use the main pool to relax as it was full of children and families, playing pool games and racing etc. We only managed to use the jacuzzi for 5 minutes as at all other times it was in use by people using the leisure pool facilities. To end what had been a very unrelaxing day, when using the changing rooms there was no space to get changed and there were lots of children using the changing facilities. This included boys who were of an age which made drying and changing in a comfortable environment very awkward for other patrons. The only positive of the whole experience was that the full body massage and facial were of a high quality. The therapists were very skilled and attentive. However, the work they had done to ensure that we were all relaxed and enjoy the experience was quickly undone. Unfortunately I am not in a position to recommend Ufford Park as a suitable location for anyone wanting to experience a relaxing spa experience.

    Very reasonable prices and polite staff. There were quit a lot of treatments I booked and the staff were very helpful in organising them.
