- On arrival i was given a robe but no towel or slippers. The robe was really old and full of holes.There are only 4 sun loungers in total around the pool which isnt enough and difficult to just sit and chill. The treatments were fantastic and therapist was lovely but the therapy rooms are in corridor that connects bar to spa,although signs up to be quiet in this area it wasn't and therapist apologised half way though my treatment for the noise. The lunch was nice. Pool was really cold. Bar staff wasn't pleasant when I had encountered her. I don't think this was worth the money at all and very disappointed

- I scheduled a facial and was pleasantly surprised to be asked if I wanted an additional foot treatment when the next appointment was cancelled. Both services were delightful and soothing. The staff’s attentiveness ensured I felt both comfortable and valued as a guest. The amenities, including the pool, bubble pool, steam room, and sauna, added to the relaxation, especially with the pool’s inviting temperature of 29 degrees. Was provided with a robe and had thought to take my own pool shoes. A truly rejuvenating experience!

- Great experience friendly service and atmosphere
- When we went to check in (after being at the spa facilities and having our treatments) we had not been booked in to have a room. Fortunately, they were not fully booked and so we were still able to stay there. The room (standard double) was a decent size and the bed was relatively comfortable! I will say the walls are very thin and I felt like I was part of the next rooms conversation, not a deal breaker at all but worth mentioning!
- A disappointing stay. We arrived early knowing we could not check into our room until 3pm so went to have some lunch in the bar. Reception staff were not very friendly and appeared occupied or busy even though hotel seemed very quiet. We were the first people in the bar we chose just soup and a sandwich and i ordered a coffee my friend a diet coke however they said they didnt havec d.coke only Irn Bru or 7up...in a Bar. Soup was cold and arrived like a blob of mush on my plate and the sandwich was literally a sandwich on a plate like you would make in your own kitchen no garnish or salad with it....this cost £8. We had dinner that evening...we would have preferred room service but were told this was not available. We came down for dinner i had fish and ships and my friend steak pie, we both had upset stomachs during the night and although breakfast was included we never went for it as we both still felt sick in the morning. Hotel room and amenities in it were lovely we had great view of river.
- The hotel lobby was nice, freshly decorated but the rooms where tired looking with dirty marks on the walls and rattly windows that were nailed shut for safety. The a la carte menu was not the same as advertised on the website, it was the bar menu but with a steak instead of a burger. The quality of the food was ok but not what would be expected from a 4 star hotel. All in all I think the spa needs renovation, the rooms need work and the place needs more staff. The staff we dealt with were all very nice, however, it feels like they don't have enough staff for the size of the hotel. There was rarely anybody on the floor in the dining room for longer than it takes to bring the plates to the table.
