- The facilities showers lockers swimmi g pool and steem rooms clean, and the treatments were great we staff very nice and helpful we really enjoyed the day, it was lovely and relaxing. The afternoon tea was not the best for the price,£25 each, 3 little slices of thin sandwiches each, not even a full sandwich... home made scones but the remaining cakes were out of a packet, the restaurant staff were friendly if we book again we will go for the normal lunch menu as that food looked nicer than ours. Overall it was a lovely day shame about the food:)
- The spa/leisure building was lovely and clean and we enjoyed the full day. My only criticism would be that the spa choices list through spa breaks.com was minimal compared to what was available on arrival. Here, the list was extensive. I had even messaged a lady at spa breaks.com to ask if we could have 2 x 25 minute treatments instead of 1 x 50 minute but she said it wasn’t possible. However on arrival at the spa, it was possible. Perhaps the system needs updating?
- We were called as we were just arriving at the spa to tell us that they had to cancel our treatments but we were still able to use the facilities. The treatments were what we were looking forward to the most. They have been rescheduled but it’s not easy for us to organise childcare etc etc. The facilities are a bit tired looking and we had soon had enough - especially as it was so busy. Lunch was nice but service was very slow despite there being very few customers.

- Wow! What a hotel! Lovely staff, lovely comfy rooms and all the amenities you need. The lounge area is lovely, we had lunch there and it was fantastic. A lovely calm setting. Staff were lovely also. The bar area is nice although it can get a bit busy at times. Reasonably priced drinks and friendly staff. We had booked and paid for 4 people on a dinner inclusive. When we checked in we asked the receptionist if we would be able to use the £32 dinner allowance for the two people that were unable to make it due to illness and we got a very stern "definitely not and the restaurant will say the same thing" we thought this was a little unfair as we had paid for 4 people and only 2 of us attended. We were unable to get a refund on the other two people either. However, when we went for Dinner I asked again and the Restaurant Manager said absolutely we can use the allowance as we had paid for it!I am so pleased I asked at dinner and didn't take the receptionist word for it. Only a small thing but made a big difference for us. Breakfast was fantastic! Lovely quality food and lovely staff. There was plenty of food and they were always replenishing. Overall, a fantastic spa break for my sisters birthday. Thank you to you all!

Food in the restaurant was good quality and an interesting menu although rather overpriced if it wasnt included. presentation of desserts was excellent and a nice varied breakfast. Our room was a bit small and rather dreary in decor. A fridge in the room wouldve been nice.
