- pool and steam room were decent but small ,lady at check in was really nice, eli at the restaurant came across very rude and full of him or herself, gym was small but not too bad.
- Pool area needs a refurb- paint peeling off ceiling and walls - jacuzzi was also in need of repair . The loungers were incredibly low to the floor and difficult to get up from - the loungers themselves were similar to what you might have at home - there was not many facilities- the robes were poor - mine was ripped and it was a waffle material which was thin and brittle. It meant when you got out the pool the robe remained damp and you were left feeling cold. for the money I paid I didn’t feel it was really worth it as I have since seen elsewhere for the same money much better packages with a lot more facilities
- The spa is very dated it wasn't very clean, in fact it was dirty. The stream and sauna rooms need upgrading, the jacuzzi wasn't up to catch and the hot tub outside wasn't working.

- Nice hotel and opposite clumber park which is perfect if visiting there as well. The room was nice but wasn't a fan of the two mattresses pushed together and they were very hard. Only 1 spare pillow in wardrobe and only 1 large towel in the bathroom for 2 people. I would visit again but not for the price I paid.
- Hotel is lovely, staff are helpful and friendly , room was clean and nicely decorated , larger tv than we've seen in a hotel before , lovely little toiletries in the bathroom. Restaurant in the evening was exceptionally good, service was the quickest we've ever had ! The man was fantastic and would highly recommend. Breakfast was nice, possibly more warm options would be nice but the range overall was good.
- We had a lovely break. Although dietary requirements were given in advance there were few choices and requests were met with, we don't get many vegetarians. There were many meals on the main menu and at breakfast which could have been adapted for a gluten free diet but weren't offered. The afternoon tea was lovely but booked for 2pm and the table wasn't ready and food took ages to come.
- The staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is looking a bit tired and dated and requires some work. Location is great
- Disappointing. Room had not been checked over prior to our visit - no hair dryer or gowns as booking stated and radiator in room was cold - took 3 hrs for staff to get it working! Booked a ‘Superior room’ but why as no bigger than a normal one except it had a small double and single beds. the latter taking up valuable space. No ‘quiet’ space in hotel - an area near reception had two different conflicting sources of music continually on a loop which should be avoided. Food OK but no table clothes for evening meals. Not worth the money overall
