I wouldn't call this a spa day, more of a swimming pool with a nice afternoon tea. We arrived expecting to spend a good few hours enjoying the spa facilities, however was extremely disappointed to find it was just a small swimming pool and sauna. The steam room was closed, which we were not informed of, and apparently the jacuzzi has been shut since pre-covid. The changing rooms were just about ok, although both toilet seats and one of the taps were broken. It was more of a local leisure centre than a relaxing spa day. Safe to say, there was very little to do other than bob around in the pool and sit in the sauna, so we were quickly bored. We ended up cutting short the spa part of the day and luckily were able to move our afternoon tea booking an hour and a half earlier. In fairness, the afternoon tea was lovely, with lovely service from the staff, but it was a shame about the rest of the "spa". I cannot comment on treatments as we did not receive any, however I would not recommend this place for a spa day. Perhaps if you wanted a morning swim ok, but very deceiving to call it a spa. Spend your money elsewhere.

    Poor
Not a very good experience as expected and for the money paid. Late notification regarding the pool which was not functional (received a call around 6pm before the date of travel and arrival of 11am), the sauna was open however the smell was awful- very strong smell of sewage we couldn’t use it or stay in there for more than few seconds. The steam room was ok just very small thou. So out of the 4 facilities we could only enjoy the steam room (very hot indeed) as the jacuzzi wasn’t working either. A bit disappointing after a 3 weeks planned day spa to celebrate an event in my life. Lunch was ok but the service was a bit poorly and we had to wait for the food and then for simple vinegar and sauces to arrive:(. Would I go again?! Don’t think so.

    Very Good
The experience was well rounded, however, some of the facilities were not working. The spa area felt a little run down, however, it did not take away from the experience as the treatments and food made up for it. Really good value for money.

    Poor
I booked birthdays day spa for 2 people I tought that brand Hilton is suggesting good hospitality not , in this point I can clearly say tha holiday Inn at reading west is much better compared value for Money 1- for sandwich and salad we was waiting around 45 mins , restaurant was empty at this time When food arrived , fries and sandwich was cold , and was refried and hard 2- spa reception Man with blond curly hair was ignoring us to speak his colleague , 3- with the booking we should recive robes and towels , the same man was trying to give us ,, low quality robes „ with holes on back 4- only good this was massage which still doesn’t recompense this bad things , I tried to make a gift to my wife and we left disappointed
