    Unfortunately we had a disappointing start to this experience as we were unable to access the lockers. After contacting a member of staff ( who later proved to be very kind and helpful), we were given a padlock to enable us to put all three of our belongings into one locker. This meant of course that everything became very squashed and creased as they only had one padlock! The day did however improve and we enjoyed a treatment each in the morning and another in the afternoon with a lovely lunch in the Loft restaurant in between where the food was very good and the two staff members were delightful.We were given a perfectly positioned table overlooking the golf course. The pool , steam room and sauna area was fine although the water in the jacuzzi was cold and as there appeared to be no real management of the area we were never at any point able to access a sunbed although several which had towels on them were not occupied throughout the day. Although we enjoyed a pleasant day for which we paid a premium as it was Mother’s Day weekend it is unlikely that we will return . Particular thanks however to the lady on reception who, after a disappointing start remained helpful throughout the day checking that we were generally happy with things.

    The lockers in the changing room were unlockable. There was a very limited choice of meals and desserts. Pool loungers uncomfortable. Pool very cold.Pool area boiling. Jacuzzi freezing.

    Staff were great, Spa treatment also great. Let down by poor state of the female changing room with the ceiling leaking everywhere. Pool looked nice but felt lots of hair while swimming which was a bit gross. Sorry
