    Pool was cold, asked me to complete a client form despite doing this prior to arrival. Turns out our treatments were at 1320 then 2 at 1400 which we weren’t notified until arrival - luckily arrived in time. Unable to use facilities lockers as not working - apparently we’re advised to bring own lock but also didn’t get this prior to arrival Treatments for myself plus 2 friends didn’t last the full 25 minutes; one treatment too weak other two too rough - facial was more like a face wash, wasn’t relaxing and there was a period of time when the face mask was setting therapist just sat on the side not administering any treatments

    The experience as a whole was lovely great steam and sauna, the only thing that was not great was the afternoon tea- sandwich selection was awful and limited, the bread was not buttered and 2 of the sandwich’s had just cucumber 2slices per sandwich I thought this was very disappointing as the other sandwiches were ham and cheese no butter an salmon, not everyone is a fan of so I enjoyed 2 ham and cheese sandwiches some cakes an scone other than that was a nice day pleasent and helpful staff

    Spa break was very good with their communication however the treatment time was booked incorrectly with them they had to squeeze us in. Spa facilities is a little back dated needs a little revamp jacuzzi was very cold and not relaxing. The jacuzzi walls were chipped and paint was chipped too.

    Good experience but a shame the steam room was closed and wasn’t aware before visit. Cellar bar was nicely built but had to wait 45 mins for salad. Bed mattress was fantastic although rooms need updating.
