    really enjoyed the spa, there was an error with the lockers when we initially arrived but this was sorted. Its a shame that only a gown and towel is provided, slippers should be provided too. I have to say the treatment was not enough for the time allocated. The therapist just spread hot oil on my arms up and down twice and pressed inside my hands. the facial was lovely however make up was still visible when i had finished. I had come to relax so did not get stressed about treatment but after speaking to my friends realised the therapist had not actually massaged my arms at all. I have emailed twice now and have been informed that this will be referred to the therapist, but this is not to my satisfaction. Staff are very friendly and the ambience is perfect. Its a shame I feel let down by the actual treatment as it was my birthday and I had organised this for a group of 9 of us. This is my third visit and I would return but would have to make sure my treatment is fully explained to me.

    Not much vegetarian choice. No snacks available I had left home at 7 and lunch was at 2 with no option to change nor able to buy anything staff in cafe were not helpful. Lady in dis was very kind enough to find me some fruit. Therapists were amazing

When was Whittlebury Hall built?

The original golf course dates back to 1905, when it was built by Sir William Cooper. It has since been recreated to the same design but in keeping with modern standards and specifications. The hotel is a more modern addition that has been added to over the years. That said, the site itself has been around for a long time - some of the resident oak trees have been in the grounds for more than 1,000 years.
