    Extremely disappointed at our visit to Welcombe, the afternoon tea was very poor, the sandwiches and the cakes were all hard and dry like they had been sat out for hours and left us feeling sick. The facilities were also very poor, the changing rooms were dirty it didn’t make you want to have a shower. There was no loungers to lie on round the pool like the photos, just chairs that were uncomfortable. The Sauna smelt bad. After just over an hour we left as it was not a good experience.

    Really lovely day at the welcombe hotel and spa. It's a really beautiful setting, with lovely architecture and Italian garden with great views over Warwickshire. Spa facilities were lovely, just 1-2 things that cut it from a 5 to a 4 star rating i.e., gym was pretty basic with old machines & no cleaning facilities to wipe down after use. Also, there were nice touches like the crystal steam room but without any nice lighting which would allow you to see the crystals or any scents available. Staff were all great & we loved the treatments included in our spa day. Shame there wasn't an option for a small lunch menu in the spa cafe so meant we had a late lunch and early finish to our spa day rather than using the full day available which was a shame. Did mean we got to have a little explore of the lovely Welcombe manor though, with a nice lunch overlooking the Italian garden then a drink on the terrace before heading off. Overall a really enjoyable experience.

    The Spa facilities were amazing, but the snacks were poor unless you had ordered something like an afternoon tea. I can’t comment on the treatments as they were fully booked and we couldn’t have one hence I haven’t scored them.

    We had a lovely afternoon at the spa with a relaxing massage which was wonderful and so discreetly done. The room was very relaxing and comfortable.

    First of all parking was a problem on site as there was a conference on in the hotel, took us 10-15 minutes to find a space, in the end had to park in a disabled bay as advised by reception. On arrival at spa had to wait 5-10 mins for someone to acknowledge us, there was no friendly greeting or welcome, the initial checking in was a bit disorganised. We were not informed of the facilities in the spa and how they worked. The overall appearance was messy, in the beauty salon there were mini towels drying on a dryer, not a good look! (I took a photo) Some of the loungers were damaged. In the main seating area it was messy cups not cleared away, no menu available to inform what food /drinks were available. Did not find the staff very friendly. The massage treatment and the member of staff was good. For the money paid for this experience I was disappointed and would not return or recommend thus place.
