- Lovely spa but shame they have taken away the lounge chairs from around the pool meaning you have to sit up. Also footspa was broken and pool temperature was a little cool as was the water in the outside pool. It would also be nice to have a food option rather than just the afternoon tea as we had to get dressed to go to the main hotel restaurant for lunch. Jacuzzi, sauna and steam area is lovely and overall a very reasonably priced day.
- Overall it was a fantastic day. The staff were so helpfull and very friendly. The only thing I was a little dissapointed about was the lanconium room and the foot spas were out of order. It didnt spoil the day but as it was a treat for my daughters birthday it would have been nice to have the whole experience. Saying that I would definately go again.
- the overall day was good and my daughter,mother and I had a lovely day; However there were a few things that could have made the day amazing instead of just good: The venue itself is tired and in desperate need of some TLC, the was rust on the soap dispensers, the corners of the showers were not clean, the loungers by the pool are falling apart and there are simply not enough to allow for groups to come in. the temperature in the spa was a little low, although robes were provided they were quite thin and in need of an upgrade, the towels had also seen better days, definitely not fluffy! The temperature around the pool was too low and even with a robe and towel I was cold. The afternoon tea was OK...the sandwiches were nice but lacked imagination, there were too many small cakes and they should have had more of a home made feel than "Mr Kiplings" the saving grace was the scaone with cream and jam...delicious. The tea was very weak (I drink my tea weak and it was too weak for me) and went cold far too quickly. The staff were lovely and refilled teapots readily. We each had a treatment which was very good and the staff were lovely, although we each had different experiences in the same treatments. A day at the spa is a treat for most and a day of indulgence, this should be reflected in the facilities and the refreshments. In this day and age to supply coffee that is from a machine and in paper cups is below expectations. As I have said we had a good day, more down to the our approach than the experience provided.

- Communication not good….. difficult to find out treatment times. Could never get through to speak to anyone. Had phone call en route at 10. 10am to say treatment was at 10am. Missed appointment but were given credit to come back another time. Given damp towel and robe, scruffy changing room! Waiting area in spa, grubby! Lovely massage from Christina. Afternoon tea ok but cold in the restaurant. Just felt the whole thing needs some TLC. Disappointing and sadly would not recommend.

- The tv in our room didn’t work, nothing that could be done so we were given a free drink each. Reception staff were hit and miss, not the welcoming smiles and attitude you’d hope for. Breakfast was good, staff well dressed and attentive
- Bar and restaurant areas were very lovely Hotel room was clean but dated especially the bathroom, need upgraded especially with mould on the shower screen and around the bath, view of the garden was lovely Restaurant staff were very welcoming and pleasant but we had to chase our wine as starters had arrived but no wine, we then also had to chase a third dessert as it did not come with the others (not sure if they were under staffed) if they were then its acceptable
- Hotel stay was great, staff very friendly and room was lovely, very old but beautiful and super clean bathroom which is always a win! Food was delicious as well! Overall a great stay!
- The only redeeming part of our trip was the meal we had at the hotel. The pork belly was lovely.
