Waterton Park Hotel & Spa is a privately owned hotel and spa at Walton Hall in Wakefield. For many years it was a private home, first built in 1767 and becoming the ancestral home of the naturalist and traveller Charles Waterton. In the late 1970’s it was bought by a local entrepreneur who set about the huge task of renovation and the addition of leisure facilities to create a country club. It then became a hotel and has been privately owned since 1989.
In Wakefield, West Yorkshire, Waterton Park Hotel & Spa is within the grounds of the historic Walton Hall. For those who are driving, leave the M1 at junction 39, or the M62 at Junction 31 and take the A655 towards Wakefield. There is plenty of free parking on site. The spa is open from 6.30am to 9pm on weekdays and 7am until 9pm on the weekends.. It is suggested you check your specific arrival times however for your spa break, as well as any changes for bank holidays.
