No-one was available on arrival which was disappointing- need more staff. Info was left to go to changing room to get robes- this was a hunt to find a clean robe and towel together in one locker and there were no locks to leave valuables. The ladies who carried out the treatment were welcoming and professional. The massage was good. The spa room was ok. The whole experience was a little underwhelming and awkward to know what to do where. We also did not get our glass of fizz ? All in all not for us and not value for money :( The treatment was the saving grace 👍

    Excellent
The spa package was a great R&R for me. First of all I enjoyed a marvellous high tea and topped this up with a cheeky mocktail, the waitress was really friendly and helpful. Then I went to the Retreat and was greeted warmly. The changing facilities are undergoing refurbishment and should be splendid when finished. The massage was very nice and the spa facilities relaxing. A few more recliners would be good as I went at a busy time. All in all it was excellent value!

The £175 voucher was a 60th birthday treat. I took a friend as I didn’t want to use a package on my own. It would’ve been nice if the voucher had allowed me to experience individual treatments rather than having to book a whole package. The staff we encountered were all fantastic, very kind and polite. However when we got to the spa, there was no staff member at the desk and as first time visitors we had to find our own way into the changing rooms and the spa area. Another couple followed us who were also new to the facilities and we muddled through together. The changing room is small with only 1 privacy cubical ( I changed in the toilet) and there were very few towels and gowns (we had to mix and match between lockers). Non of the lockers actually locked so we had to take our valuables with us. The treatments we had were lovely ( I had a facial and my friend had a massage ) but the spa area itself was not very relaxing in that there were no available beds or loungers (there were 6 other people using the spa- one couple seemed to have 2 loungers and 2 chairs) and my friend and I sat on a bench in between using the hot tubs. A workmen helped us set up the hot tub as only one side seem to be working. An afternoon tea was included in our package. Although it was very nice, it was rather carbohydrate heavy. It would have been nice if some sort of lighter option had been offered with this spa session package. As we could not eat all that was on offer and as the package is quite expensive at £99 each I asked if we could take what we couldn’t eat home. There is no provision for this although staff provided us with a roll of clingfilm and I wrapped up our sandwiches and cake. This was my first time using the spa at Indigo and although I could not fault the staff, it didn’t feel luxurious and I feel sad that my birthday treat was rather disappointing.

Our booking hadn’t come through from Spabreaks.com so there was some confusion about whether they could accommodate us. No slippers available and seemed surprised by any requests. Not a very big spa but clean and comfortable.

An absolutely lovely quaint spa with fantastic staff. From the person that greeted us when we walked into the building to the one that said goodbye every member of staff was so caring. The afternoon tea was gorgeous and a lot bigger and better than we expected. We had fabulous facials and enjoyed the spa completely on our own which was a very nice bonus.
