This charming hotel is situated close to York, making sight seeing trips into the lovely city convenient and manageable when combined with some gentle relaxation back at base.     Very large jacuzzi and pool. A couple of saunas and steam room so it didn’t feel crowded and you had privacy. Nice and warm in pool area

    Absolutely brilliant, the staff are wonderful and answered any questions I had. The spa its self is beautiful and clean, and has so many facilities. My treatment was great and everything was such amazing value

    The spa was very nice, treatment was very good. We were not contacted to book our treatment times so we're disappointed with the times we were giving. Also there is no relaxation room here but not a deal breaker. Pool area clean and relaxing. Food in the restaurant next door was outstanding! Really better than expected and the service was great also.

    Facilities were excellent , the receptionist greeted us, made to feel very welcome and filled out all forms, then made arrangements for the lunch provided 5 ladies , my daughters 30th birthday celebration . Lovely pool area , great changing facilities, showers etc, provided with gown, towel and slippers. Pool, jacuzzi, steam rooms along with sauna, aromatherapy room and sea salt room room, all very enjoyable . 2 ladies went first , lunch was arranged for 1pm whilst we had a half hour break. This would have worked well, but on arriving for lunch , we had a 15 mins wait whilst she set Table, took drinks order before finally bringing Out the food! This was not ideal as 2 of us had to rush our food and drinks. The plates were cold, so obviously had been prepared earlier, but were not made available to the pre-arranged time. A real shame , as the rest of the day was just perfect! Relax and renew treatment chosen by me and the lovely Romanian girl was excellent and thoroughly competent in her knowledge! Superior massage and facial lasting 55mins We would all go again , but I would hope that the instructions for lunch would next time be adhered to.
