- As much as the facilities.... pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam rooms were pleasant, I found it overpriced. The condition of the changing rooms, showers and quality of products in the showers were in need of an upgrade.
- Wonderful find, friendly staff and good, clean facilities. Little bit difficult to find drinking water and any hot drinks were back at reception. The building is also separate from the main hotel so it was a bit of a trek for lunch.
- Fabulous spa day at the Parsonage. Lovely spa area with clean and well maintained facilities, relaxing ambience and friendly therapists. Would definitely recommend. My friend and I are definitely going back!

- Lovely place, nothing was any trouble for the staff. Friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable, well kept clean and well accommodated with everything you would need. It’s a Great location for exploring york and the local area. Will definitely recommend to friends and family
- The staff were just lovely. Warm, welcoming, helpful and professional. The surroundings were comfy & cosy. There was a tiny mishap when booking through spa breaks in that the hotel doesn’t have a deluxe twin room, so we had to move rooms. But the hotel sorted it without issue & we were moved to a standard room which was lovely. Spa breaks & the hotel worked together to refund the balance. The afternoon tea at the hotel was a gorgeous treat, followed by a few hours in the equally gorgeous spa & a fabulous treatment. The Fat Abbot for food was lovely, although the Mango Pavlova wasn’t quite what I was expecting & I wouldn't recommend it. However that was the only disappointment. Otherwise 99% perfect & I would definitely recommend a visit for perfect relaxation. We will be returning!
