The spa facilities were incredible. The only thing that let the experience down was the lack of communication regarding ordering pool side drinks. All guests during my stay were discussing amongst themselves the lack of clarity on how to order from the poolside drinks menus placed around the pool. There was also nowhere to dry swimwear or anything to transport wet items of clothing home.

This is my second time at the spa. I previously visited in December 2024. We were told on arrival that there would be a delay if we ordered any drinks as there was a football match on. There were no staff around to ask for any further drinks and water was not changed in the spa whilst we were there - 2 hours. The spa was busy and the changing areas are very small. There were multiple broken lockers in the changing rooms. The hair straighteners in the changing rooms are broken and have been since December. Lovely spa area but a bit disappointing that the service doesn’t match

Some really disappointing parts to the spa. There were no beds/seats on arrival around the pool. As a result we had to pile our things in the corner. We could not really relax in the pool as it was pretty cool temperatures. After a couple of hours a bed become available for us to use. The other parts to the spa were good (steam room/sauna). There were small things that were not up to standard. No toilet roll in the females toilets, not enough lockers for the amount of people using the spa. On the flip side the food was excellent and the service we received was to a very high standard throughout the day.

Had a fantastic stay at the hotel, the doormen were exceptionally helpful and we found the bar area very stylish. The Northern Irish girl serving behind the bar was very accommodating and improved out experience by showing us around the hotel including the tea room and library.

Hotel beautiful, bar and lounge stunning with subtle mood music playing and many areas to sit and relax an extensive bar with good choice of drinks alcoholic and non alcoholic hot and cold. Service however, is very slow. Room was a superior twin so two single beds with a two inch gap and a compact room with wardrobe dressing table wall mounted tv ironing board and iron. En suite is a good size with nice shower . Not sure what an inferior room size would be like if this is superior? Signage around hotel is brass plaques hard to read in dim lights. Staff very friendly and helpful gave us directions and ordered us taxis we left luggage there after checking out which was handy as we could get out and about without having to take luggage with us .

Rooms are fabulous. The centrepiece of the hotel is the stunning looking bar and restaurants. Food in bar is excellent. It all fell apart when it came to breakfast. It was a shambles. We arrived at 9.30 and order not taken or drinks provided after 45 mins. Breakfast arrived at 11 and was not edible. Staff were polite but clearly upset and distressed with lots of unhappy customers. Not enough staff. Not 5 star! All customers were polite but we made sure we privately fed back to the hotel manager as the experience was not what we expected. Hopefully they will act on the feesback.
