    30 min massage, 20 mins at most as late treatment start and finished 10 mins early! If you have a 30 min massage, you expect the massage yo be 30 mins. Food awful, hardly noticeable choice, get better on a supermarket meal deal! And sadly food not cooked very well, absolute disgrace. Bought as a birthday treat, felt ashamed, embarrassed, let down and hungry! Would not recommend, but could have been quite pleasant and nice so easily. Such a shame and waste of money.

    We went at the weekend as a night away from our daughter. A special treat for us. The food was awful. We ordered the Camembert and after it being sent back twice the waiter told us that the chef had said it was as good as it was going to get. (It was still hard).The manager was very apologetic and we got a refund. The breakfast was sub par. The hot food was plentiful but not hot. The toaster didn't toast your bread the first time through then burnt it the second. Excellent selection of cold meats and pastries. We then went to the spa and had two massages booked. A young girl did this. It was like being in a car wash. No real massage more balms being put on and rubbed around on my back. The pool facilities are dated and there is a lot of damp. Our rooms view was stunning and saved the weekend really. The carpet was threadbare and the paint was pealing off, furniture musky. The hotel could be incredible but as it is at the moment I wouldn't recommend and would not return. We were looking forward to our stay but I wish I had spent £300 going elsewhere.

    For going there first time for a special day. The staff were friendly and welcoming.My treatment I had was lovley and I come out feeling well rexled and comfortable. Want to thank kelsey who did my treatment as she was lovley and she took the time to explain wht she was doing and to explain what oil and stuff she used on me due to me having allergies. Thank you kelsey for doing that for me.I would defo go back. Thank you for a lovely day.

    Absolutely lovely experience! We had such a nice time, the food was wonderful and the treatment was fantastic. The spa in general was in pretty good nick but just some areas by the jacuzzi etc with mould. But overall lovely.

    Lovely hotel - don't be put off by how it looks outside (quite normal) because inside is lovely. All the staff we met with were lovely and friendly. Our therapist (Jade) was amazing. She did both mine and my husband's treatments and I can honestly say they were probably the best treatments we have ever had. The lunch was HUGE and very tasty. All in all I would gladly go back to The Imperial again for another spa day (or maybe a spa break next time) but would definitely ask for Jade to carry out out treatments. Honestly highly recommended
