The Elms Hotel & Spa was built in the 1800s as a private home, alongside the banks of the Fishing River known for its healing mineral waters. The original structure was built in 1888 down the road from the property we know today. It opened as a hotel in 1908, but after it was destroyed by fire, it was rebuilt for the third time in the 1930s, reopening in 1932. Since then it has evolved over the decades to become the hotel it is today, with the addition of a spectacular spa and luxury updates.
