    Good
My sister and I were left somewhat disappointed after our spa day. On arrival, we were told that the treatments that we had booked to run alongside each other (to allow us lots of time to spend together in between) had been rearranged due to a therapist calling in sick. This meant that while one of us was having treatment, the other one was sitting on their own by the pool. The pool area was ok but the loungers were wet where people had sat on them after getting out of the water (they were soft cushioned loungers). This meant that if you didn’t want to sit in the wet, you had to sit in a hard chair (not very relaxing). We were told that a glass of Prosecco was included with the light lunch, but that we could swap this for a soft or hot drink and just to let the restaurant know if we wanted to do that. After being seated for lunch, we waited 20 minutes for our food (which was a cold meal, no cooking involved). There was a jug of water on the table, but at no point were we offered the glass each of Prosecco or the smoothie that my sister had selected when we chose our menu options. The food arrived and we had to ask where the sides were that we had ordered. These had clearly been forgotten and we waited another 10 minutes for these (it was just fries and onion rings). No one visited our table at all after the food was served so we weren’t even able to ask for a hot drink to replace the Prosecco we didn’t get, or the smoothie. After lunch we returned to the pool area where the room felt quite chilly. We decided to have a swim but soon got out of the water as it was cold. We then tried the jacuzzi (spa bath) and that was barely lukewarm. We then thought perhaps we would try the relaxation room which was not relaxing at all. It was very bright and there is a treatment room situated off of it so therapists were constantly walking through and talking to each other. After a while we gave up and headed back to the changing room which also felt very chilly. We then discovered there was no hot water to have a shower (a common occurrence apparently according to regular health club users). So we got dressed and headed home. I intended to express my disappointment to the health club receptionist as we left but there was nobody there and no staff to be seen anywhere. I think it is safe to say we would not use this spa again.

    Very Good
A regular user as a overnight stay. Facilities are great and staff are friendly. Lovely quiet areas to relax in and thoroughly enjoy my stay each time. friendly and even explained the stepa and products when doing facial which was helpful when asked. Treatments are always of good quality. This time there was miss communication on spa massage treatment times. I tend to call direct in advance to reserve a dining slot and massage time. Specifically had a confirmed time and date but day before arrival was called by a worker and confirmed wrong time and date. We was unable to change this which was dissapointing even when this was confirmed via telephone when calling direct.
