Rudding Park is located three miles south of Harrogate, accessible by car (off the A658). The nearest train station is in Harrogate, from which you can get a taxi, which is best booked in advance.

A spa day at Rudding Park depends on the experience that you book, particularly when it comes to treatments. You will however have access to the leisure facilities including the gym, mind and sense zones, indoor swimming pool, juniper log sauna and the Roof Top Spa and Garden.

When was Rudding Park built?

The original property was built by A.E. Purdie in 1874 for Sir Percival Radcliffe, the third Baronet. The main house remains intact, but has been extended with a modern section of the hotel (added in 2010) as well as a purpose built spa, which was added in 2017.

Rudding Park has a range of facilities. It is surrounded by 300 acres of parkland including two golf courses and a golf academy. It has a rooftop spa garden, oxygen pod and sunlight therapy room, spa treatments, two restaurants and a spa cafe.

Their accessibility measures include: Blue badge parking spaces adjacent to the hotel; public areas have ground level access; lifts are available with audio/visual displays to access the facilities and rooms on other levels; conference facilities are well lit; wheelchair accessible/adapted guest toilets are available on the ground floor in both the restaurant and conference areas; signage is consistent with clear capital letters throughout; they have two manual wheelchairs available for guest use; mobility scooters can also be charged – please ask at Reception; there is a level pathway leading to the spa entrance, which is wheelchair accessible; there's also a lift to the spa restaurant for hotel guests; a hoist is available for the pool; there are accessible changing facilities; the private cinema has additional space for wheelchairs; there are accessible changing and toilet facilities at the golf clubhouse and academy; staff have undergone disability and sensory awareness training.

Check-in is from 3pm and check-out prior to 11am. The spa is open from 6.30am to 10:30pm, the Roof Top Spa is open from 7.30am to 10:30pm and the gym is open from 6.30am to 10pm. For specific check in times on your spa day please check your booking details.

Are dogs allowed at Rudding Park?

Dogs are not permitted in the hotel or hotel rooms at Rudding Park unless they're guide dogs.

Can children go to Rudding Park?

Children are welcome at Rudding Park, but the spa and its facilities are only for visitors aged 16 and over. There are however children's swimming times in the indoor pool from 9.30am to 10.30am and 4pm to 5pm.
