A beautiful hotel, set in landscaped gardens, you are in for a sumptuous treat whether you’re visiting for a day or plan to stay longer. The SansanaSPA is a contemporary escape where facilities include a swimming pool and hot tub as well as heated loungers for chilling out on. The thermal suite is fantastic, so make sure you try the mud chamber and the Tropical Experience Showers. The treatments menu includes some very tantalising signature rituals too.

- The staff didn’t tell us what the process was and left us in a room to relax, before I asked and found out our treatments were in an hour! So we started to use the facilities. The adjacent pool had some keep fit classes in it - this was not shown on a timetable and we left!

- Excellent stay with my mother, rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast and bistro dinner were both superb, staff were friendly and the train station a few minutes walk away was so handy. Excellent overall, highly recommend
- Spacious room, overlooking the sea. The bathroom was lovely, though could do with renovation - taps had pieces. Not enough milk left for refreshments.
