    Good
A half day spa including a mini treatment and afternoon tea. The spa staff were welcoming and efficient but the spa reception was quite cold for sitting out in your robe. The pool area was quite quiet but the jacuzzi was a carved out part of the actual pool so the same temperature as the pool itself which was too cold to sit in for any length of time. Positively all 3 massages were booked at the same time which we appreciated. But varied in quality. The afternoon tea was perfectly nice but nothing special. Sadly we didn't feel the afternoon justified the £94 price tag and probably wouldn't choose to go there again.

I was extremely disappointed by the facilities at this spa. The water was freezing, as was the jacuzzi in the pool.. it was shooting out cold bubbles and we stayed in it for less than a minute before having to get out as it was so cold. This meant the only facility we could use was the sauna or steam room which were extremely small and there were many people at this spa so we had to wait quite long to make use of either of these rooms. Getting to use a sauna once is not worth £39 that we paid. We were told to come back out at 12 for lunch so you do not get use of spa facilities until 1pm you get it until 12. When we came for our lunch, only half of our food was served. We asked our waiter and it took 20 minutes for the rest of the food to come and the other food was cold at this point. I will definitely not be returning to this spa at all as the pool and jacuzzi were absolutely shocking being this cold at a spa.

Myself and the girls visited for a weekend stay. Unfortunately there was a wedding on and so it was very busy. The spa itself was very small and so there was nowhere for us to sit. The pool and jacuzzi were very cold and the floor and changing facilities were very dirty as the staff were shirt due to the wedding. Nobody was working the bar as again, they were busy elsewhere and the water pressure in the rooms was very poor. The rooms themselves were very cold but that was to he expected for an older building in the cold seasons. The breakfast was very nice and it was good value for money but we wouldn't choose to stay here again.

    Good
The therapist was fantastic but for the price the afternoon tea was basic and the staff at the reception were not very professional or accommodating
