- Had 2 very inexperienced staff members who were unable to access the spas system to see who had booked. Crazy backlog of people waiting & felt the general stress of their situation when trying to relax myself. Appt didn’t last for 40 minutes as what had been paid for.
- First of all I would like to thank Ola and Ellie for the treatments. Very disappointed though when booking that we were not offered time slots although I can appreciate busy. We booked this a couple of months ago and I liaised with Caitlin (apologies if spelling is wrong). Although reflexology is advertised it’s was not available when initial booking was done. When going over the treatments that we would like on the phone Caitlin had said that two of my sisters could get an extra 10 mins and we would pay. I sent an email with our names and requests of treatment. As reflexology was not available one of our sisters decided to get the massage. On Friday 5th at 5.40 I revived a call from a lady at the spa (can’t remember her name) to say that hot stones were not available. Also the body scrub was not available. I said I was very disappointed as this spa treatment was special as one of our sisters turned 50 and was a celebration for her birthday (overnight stay). She offered the Swedish for two of us with extra time and relaxation with extra time. I mentioned myself as I had requested facial. She then advised the spa was booked just for 3 of us and I said it was for 4 of us as previously first discussed on the phone. So because of this no extra time could be added to treatments. I said I was very disappointed and she was going to inform her manager. On arrival at spa nobody to get greet us although there was a notice on office door. We proceeded to the relaxation room and had to complete forms in the dark. Had to use our phones with the lights to see what we were doing, no changing rooms. No robes and slippers/flip flops offered although this is mentioned in the email, refreshment area very disappointing. Staff did acknowledge us when retrieving water for clients with a greeting. When Ola came through. I commented on how disappointed I was as Ola was under the impression it was for 3 of us. She apologised and said she could do hot stones for two of the Swedish massages and relaxation massage and facial could be done. Treatments were good but because of overall lack of communication we won’t be returning to future stays or to future spa breaks.

- Due to not having any suitable appointments we had to take the only available date which was 10am on the date we were leaving so our experience was a rushed treatment. Breaks should only be booked if there is a good availability of times for treatment.

- Jacuzzi did not work properly at the leisure centre. It feels rich to call this a “spa break” as it was constantly loud and not relaxing. The room was really lovely and the view great. The steak was amazing from the grill.
- Claire at the reception made us feel very welcome. Although the rooms were not ready we were allowed to leave our luggage behind the reception desk. Would just like to thank all the hotel staff for making our stay such a first class experience and for bending over backwards with their friendly, efficient first class service.

- Had a lovely stay. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon tea. Was surprised safety deposit box was not in room and for guests staying longer a fridge would be good.
