Simply breathtaking, this is a hotel that sets the tone for romance as soon as you enter its woodland and landscaped gardens. Cosy lounges, sunny terraces and a luxurious spa all add to the romantic theme so save time for some relaxation together. The thermal experience is perfect for sharing, from the aroma steam room and salt inhalation room to the ice fountain and wooden hot tub. There’s a double treatment room and even a double nail bar for a couple’s spa treat too.

    A luxurious Victorian country house hotel in Cumbria, Netherwood Hotel and Spa offers an elegant experience in historic surroundings but with welcoming service and style. The spa is a dedicated luxurious experience that’s all about pampering with a thermal suite and three treatment rooms using Germaine de Capuccini products. Please note there is no swimming pool.

    The hotel welcomes groups and hen parties of up to 16 people, with family rooms and interconnecting rooms in the hotel area, and plenty of space to relax in the hotel grounds in the summer months.

    This is one of the best spas I've ever been to. The staff were incredibly professional, friendly and polite and all facilities were very clean. We never felt crowded in the spa because of an effective booking system. The hot jacuzzi was wonderful (I wasn't brave enough for the cold one!) And the thermal spa was a real treat. My husband and I both had treatments which were excellent and we haven't felt as relaxed for years! I can't recommend the spa highly enough, it was completely worth the 200 mile round trip!
