- In need of some TLC, lots of areas looking a bit grotty, dust/cobwebs everywhere, shower heads covered in rust, marks on the towels etc.
- The spa and facilities were fantastic but the staff really let the place down. They were friendly but the service was very poor due to the staff talking to eachother and seeming to forget about the customers. For example when we arrived we were seated for lunch and no one came to offer us a drink or ask if we would like something for 30 minutes, then we waited another 20 minutes for our treatment. We had been told we would be collected but we sat in our robes for another 20 minutes which meant we had to go get the staff ourselves 3 times already. Then again empty drinks were left surrounding the pool areas both inside and outside. It was a lovely spa and experience but had the hospitality been better I would have scored it 5 stars.
- Our treatment was amazing and the treatment room and food was excellent. We had a lovely day. Negatives would be the changing rooms are tiny and the dressing gowns were grey/off white - we had a lovely day though.

- Gorgeous spa, the staff were so welcoming from start to finish. The facilities were top notch, I particularly enjoyed the infra red sauna. The view from the infinity pools was amazing, I left feeling so refreshed.

- room was lovely and the bed was so comfy! The staff in the restaurant weren’t great as were very slow but the staff on reception were lovely. The resort and lake was lovely to have a walk round. The restaurant was probably the worse part as the food was nice but the tables were so close together and all couples were crammed in the middle so didn’t feel nice although the food was nice think it’s expensive for what you get.
- Absolutely stunning views. Attentive and friendly staff. Delicious food. Comfortable spacious room with lovely toiletries. An truly wonderful place to stay. Would definitely recommend and want to return. Only critique I would make is that the restaurant would benefit from gentle music, maybe classical. Modern pop music doesn’t suit the ambiance or fabulous setting
- We arrived on a rather wet and windy day the main entrance was closed due to the bad weather it was not made very clear that you had to use a side entrance to gain access to the hotel. When we did get into the the hotel one member of the reception team asked me if I couldn’t read the sign on the door clearly not . We then sat and had a beer in the bar which was just next to the main entrance of the hotel we saw more than 15 people try to gain access to the hotel though the main entrance the same way we did clearly none of them could read .... the spa was beautiful the staff made us feel very welcome kind and friendly. The evening meal was top class . The only other mix up was when i was paying the the bill the same person who made the joke about me not being able to read gave me my bill , it was for the full amount with my drinks added on £410 .00 . You having a laugh I said to him I have already paid for my break via spa breaks can you NOT READ .. he then passed me onto another member of staff she asked me for £61.00 I took a quick look at my bill they had charged me for a room upgrade which I had already paid for (You having a laugh) she said she was really sorry I then paid her £21.00 for my drinks .. we had a lovely break and would return to this hotel thank you very much for all your help when booking this break for us kind regards Michael Matthews
