- The therapists were lovely and the treatments were really relaxing. The spa is clean but needs work. There were children running round in the spa, throwing balls and doing bombs in the swimming pool and were in the jacuzzi. All of which are advertised not to do but no staff ever came to ask them to stop despite being cameras in the pool area. People were also taking photos which is off putting as there's also a sign to not do that either.
- I didnt have any treatments i just had a light lunch then sat in a quiet corner with a latte and read a book. Staff were lovely.
- Booked an afternoon mini spa which we really enjoyed. Amber was friendly and welcoming and Lucy took care of us with our spa treatments. We opted for the back, neck and shoulder massage which was very relaxing and stress relieving and just what we needed. We also used the sauna, steam room, pool and jacuzzi which added to the experience. Would recommend the facilities to friends and family and hope to visit again. Thank you!
- Nice little indoor pool with jacuzzi overlooking the garden and a steam room and sauna off to the side. There was also a gym there but what weirdos use those on a spa break ?! There was a distinct lack of beds / chairs next to the pool and it wasn’t massively warm in the spa so it wouldn’t be the place for me to sit back, relax and enjoy a book. Also, aside from water, you couldn’t get a drink by the pool so no chilling out with a glass of bubbles. More a case of use the facilities and then leave. I had a lovely massage. Room and lady were both lovely although I’m sure she cut my 30 minute session short

- The hotel is really nice, the grounds are beautiful, we loved the room it was very spacious and the beds were huge and comfy. The only issue was how hot it was in the room, the radiators were on and there's only two windows to open on a latch. There's also not a main light in the room. The staff overall were very lovely and friendly but a clear lack of training. At dinner the service was good until we finished our meal and asked for dessert twice and then in the end went to the bar to pay, the lady at the bar was very nice. The food at dinner was OK, the steak was dry, no sauce with the steak? At nearly £28? The chips were not nice either, so a disappointing meal. The seabass was nice but one of the 3 pieces of fish was pure fat so not edible. The And I had a handful of peas in the fishy water. The biscuits for the cheese & biscuits were soft and the grapes and celery were brown. We were sat at our table for lunch before we left and tried to order at the bar as no one had taken our order, the lady said someone will come to us at the table to order, they didn't so we went back to the bar to order and explained we were on a schedule. Our food came and we asked for white bread with no mustard but were given brown bread with mustard, the waitress took it away and got me another which I appreciated and she said the chef hadn't seen the note. If I had allergies this could have been a different story. Another table asked where their dessert was as they were also on a schedule, to the spa for their booked treatment, their dessert finally came and they had to rush it and leave. The manager said that it was because 5 tables were booked at the same time. 5 tables of 2 for sandwiches, crisps, nachos etc is not alot of people at all. Again we had to go to the bar to pay as noone came back. We were not once over the 3 meals asked if everything was ok with our meals. However we were asked at breakfast by the manager himself. The staff were absolutely lovely but the lack of training lets the hotel down.
- The staff couldn’t be friendlier! Ellise on reception and check in was so friendly and polite and Nikki on check out. Felt like they had known us years. Chloe in the restaurant was so sweet and did great to say it was only her second day. Really felt all the staff would have gone above and beyond to ensure our stay was as blissful as possible. Can’t wait to come and stay again!
- The hotel will benefit from an overall upgrade. There was no sewing kit. The coffee in the room was nice, as well as the body lotion and fridge.
- Excellent value for money staff very nice food good lovely stay
- comfy beds, but heating on full all day & night, so uncomfortable to sleep. tried to get it fixed, but no joy. we were asked several times to pay for things that we'd pre paid. staff unaware we had a package deal. evening meal poor - we were the only table in at 6.30 but it took 30 mins for food to arrive, main course came before starter. main course meat tough not great All waiters & bar staff were lovely
