    Very Good
There was a class in the pool which was very noisy & spoilt our spa experience. Otherwise it was a great day, afternoon tea was excellent & staff lovely. I would not pay full price (the summer half price deal reflected small spa with few facilities) Only downside was the showers - all full of clumps of hair all over the floor, not pleasant.

    Poor
The spa itself is not quality, it feels dirty and there were signs to say things were out of order. There was a musty smell and it just generally felt unclean. The pool area was packed and really loud. We sat here until it was time for lunch. Lunch consisted of a sandwich and a few crisps. The treatment area is very nice but to get here you have to walk through a run-down musty smelling corridor with a carpet that has seen better days. To make matters worse I wanted my phone from my locker over lunch so we could look at holidays on our ‘relaxing’ day out but the key didn’t work in the lock so I had to wait for someone to come and cut the off and replace with a new padlock. Not high-tech or what you want when you’ve paid over £200 for a spa day. We didn’t use any of the facilities so in theory paid all that money for a sandwich and the treatment. What they are advertising and what you are getting are two very different experiences. If you are looking for luxury don’t book here. I was really disappointed. The staff are lovely but it doesn’t make up for the lack of atmosphere and facilities.

Unfortunately the pool was so busy we couldn’t get in, maybe a time slot would be an idea for busy times, it was like a free for all.
