My friend and I booked this day together to enjoy some well-needed self care and to feel special for the day. Sadly we left feeling not very special! The massage and masseuse were fabulous (be relaxed and be restful treatments) though we weren't offered any water at the end of the treatment and couldn't find a water fountain until we retreated to the thermal spa area. One member of reception was lovely and helpful, the other didn't smile or seem happy to greet us. The outdoor heated infinity pool was dirty and the big steel shutter above your head wasn't very attractive. We had afternoon tea and the only waitress we saw looked completely overwhelmed and stressed. She got our drinks order wrong but we didn't want to add to stress and change it. Lots of tutting and sighing from her when she delivered food - but she was working alone so we felt bad for her. There was no menu to say what we were eating (or what the small soup was that arrived beforehand - and in 2 teacups rather than bowls). No offer of water again. The bread for the sandwiches were stale and dry but the scones were tasty. No one was around when we left to say bye. We paid a lot for the day there. Underwhelmed by it all sadly and afraid to say we won't be returning.

Stayed in the executive room and it was so nice. My partner had a lovely birthday. Much bigger than expected. The shower was lovely and I had the best sleep.

Really lovely experience the thermal suit was clean and had good variety. It was quite quite on the friday morning we went and started to feel a little more crowded by the afternoon. Our therapists were lovely and mine took time to explain everything which I really appreciated. The food was good, the scones were heavenly but I would have appreciated to know what was in each cake. Wonderful experience would recommend Nd return

We had a really lovely, relaxing stay at The Last Drop Village and Spa. Made full use of the pool, thermal spa and spa treatment. Meals in the bar and restaurant were delicious. Staff friendly and helpful. Great time had. Would recommend.

A treat for my daughter and myself. Beautiful hotel with so much character 😁 check-in was easy with lovely staff on reception. Room was perfect except unfortunately room 5 we were next to a store room with a humming sound at night did keep me awake 😴😴 We had booked the evening meal and again lovely staff. Food was so good. Had a bottle of wine which I never buy at a hotel was expensive but thought hey ho it's a treat. Overnight explained above. Breakfast was a buffet which had plenty to chose from. Overall almost a relaxing and perfect stay just avoid room 5 😳 forgot to add the shops in the village were a lovely addition. Cards & toy shop the lady there was so helpful and had a chat with us. Added bonus a wedding fayre was on in which perfect to get ideas and possibly book her day at the hotel too.

Service - While walking around the site staff failed to move out of the way in corridors to go from walking side by side to behind eachother so eveyone could pass single file. This also occurred in the restaurant at breakfast Spa staff were extremely rude and made us feel like we were a nuisance. We had to go back to the spa on 3 separate occasion as it was full to capacity. Throughout the time of booking no staff advised the spa was limited to numbers. At the time of being told to come back staff seemed careless. All waiting staff at breakfast were incredibly rude with an unhappy look on their face. While eating breakfast out table was near the bar, and I could see the coffee machine. One staff member proceeded to fill the biscuits container with their bare hands without following appropriate food hygiene standards. Value of money - The spa was not value for money. It was unbelievably busy and not relaxing. Totally the opposite to what we were expecting. All marketing materials I saw of the hotel was not a true reflection of the spa facilities. Atmosphere- The spa was awful too busy - like fish in a fish tank. Horrific. The atmosphere in the hotel in general was miserable. All staff were unhappy and as a paying customer we were made to bee like we were doing wrong by asking for service. Food and Drink - We only ate breakfast onsite and this was ok. Nothing special. Rude and unhygienic staff ruined it. Upon arriving at the “wait here to be seated” Sign, the staff member who greeted us couldn’t have been any more rude or miserable. This was a birthday night away as a celebration and our stay was far from it. Upon leaving the hotel the staff member who checked us out didn’t smile or have any enthusiasm about them. Upon asking if out stay was okay I simply replied fine as it was clear none of the staff want to be there. We are beyond disappointed in our stay. Customer service is everything in the hospitality industry and we were let down at every opportunity. We feel like our hard earned money was truly wasted.
