- The spa was dreamy. There was a little hiccup as one of the massage girls had to go off sick meaning our treatment couldn’t be done in one sitting but had to be split over 2 appointments. The massage person still around didn’t check the system so my husband ended up with only half a treatment whereas I got the full treatment which then delayed other people’s appointments. The staff at the spa was able to rectify this and was able to give my husband the full treatment the next day and made him very relaxed and calm about the whole situation.
- We really enjoyed our experience at the spa! It was clean, welcoming, not too busy and the facilities were lovely. I did a package deal with the hotel, so spa-specific value was hard to judge but overall the package was great value! I will be booking again!
- The spa was absolutely amazing, the facilities were exceptional together with the attentiveness of all the staff. Had a back massage and a wonderful relaxing facial which Ellie carried out very professionally. The lunch we had in the restaurant was delicious and the surroundings were very inviting. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Manor House hotel and spa, and we will definitely be visiting this little gem again very soon

- I had a booked a night in the hotel & spa as a birthday present for my husband. When we arrived, we were able to check in earlier than expected. The room was cute and quaint. The interior was beautiful, warm and clean. The dinner menu was lovely and had a variety of options. Although the dishes we had we thought were loaded with a bit too much red cabbage. And the breakfast options were great. We were able to sit in a very comfy bar with sofas where we ended up in a group quiz with other guests and some of the staff. It was very enjoyable.
- We had a fantastic stay! The whole package included spa use, treatments, money towards dinner, breakfast and prosecco and it was excellent value! I would say this is one of the nicest affordable spa hotel stays I have done in recent years, and we will return!
- Lovely relaxing stay, some parts of hotel aren’t renovated yet so we upgraded to one of the new rooms and it was beautiful. Work started outside our room about 10 which was considerate, can’t be helped and wasn’t a problem to us. Evening meal was lovely and breakfast too. Really enjoyed our stay.
- Reception staff were rude and said we couldn't use the facilities until 2pm and when we went to the spa they said we could have used it from 1pm. We had treatment at 3pm. When i addressed this with reception they never just said, ah right, really. For our 3 course meal we were served very watery mushroom soup and sticky toffee pudding still with parchment paper on it.
