- All the staff were brilliant from the greeting to the treatment, lunch was fabulous as was the restaurant, the only little tweak would be to replace the cushions on the beds but would definitely go back thoroughly enjoyed the day.
- Hotel staff, perfect. Hotel food outstanding. Room comfort not great. The spa experience was horrendous. Only 1 member of staff on duty. Floors filthy, changing rooms disgusting. Hotel getting work done, builders marched in with dirty boots on to basically have a look who was in. Later in the afternoon after work they obviously had free use of the facilities. 4 of them came in and took over the sauna and jacuzzi. We had paid for a spa break and couldn’t use it from 5pm!!! We couldn’t get in sauna as they were lying over all benches, then emerged all sweaty plunging straight into jacuzzi without showering. There was no way I was going back in there. Totally awful spa experience which I can’t recommend. Wasted my money and had a disappointing birthday treat for my wife. Not recommended. 😡

- The spa was absolutely amazing, the facilities were exceptional together with the attentiveness of all the staff. Had a back massage and a wonderful relaxing facial which Ellie carried out very professionally. The lunch we had in the restaurant was delicious and the surroundings were very inviting. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Manor House hotel and spa, and we will definitely be visiting this little gem again very soon

- Loved our stay! We upgraded to a deluxe room for only £20 which was a bonus! We do however feel the room was rather grubby in areas considering if was classed as ‘deluxe’. The stool at the bottom of the bed had lots of white stains over it and the carpet was stained in parts. Bathroom was fabulous and bed very comfortable! Spa was simple but lovely. Again, the lounger pads to the right of the spa in the conservatory looked very old and worn. Overall though we thought it was brilliant value for money and will definitely come again. The breakfast was fabulous!!!!
- I had a booked a night in the hotel & spa as a birthday present for my husband. When we arrived, we were able to check in earlier than expected. The room was cute and quaint. The interior was beautiful, warm and clean. The dinner menu was lovely and had a variety of options. Although the dishes we had we thought were loaded with a bit too much red cabbage. And the breakfast options were great. We were able to sit in a very comfy bar with sofas where we ended up in a group quiz with other guests and some of the staff. It was very enjoyable.
- This was a gift so again can’t really comment on value for money. Our only criticism with regard to the staff is that some of them seemed inexperienced and/or overstretched, which is not their fault and all were really pleasant. None of this detracted from our enjoyment of the stay and we would definitely go back.
- Lovely relaxing stay, some parts of hotel aren’t renovated yet so we upgraded to one of the new rooms and it was beautiful. Work started outside our room about 10 which was considerate, can’t be helped and wasn’t a problem to us. Evening meal was lovely and breakfast too. Really enjoyed our stay.
