    Good
Unfortunately, I didn’t have a very good time. The afternoon tea is a nice touch, but the sandwiches have been sitting there for several hours, the crisp is around them were all soggy. During the massage, it was nice to check my preferences for pressure, but I didn't feel they were followed. Most unfortunate, the person had long nails and it didn’t feel nice at all. The room was cold and the robe was almost wet, which also didn’t add to the relaxing experience. The thermal room needs refurbishing. It’s located in a security exit corner, I could see doors rotting from dampness at the bottom, tiles chipped off, again, when there is no attention to little details like that, the whole experience is ruined. Marriott deserves better.

    Good
The spa area was relaxing and immaculately clean the hot beds were amazing but only 2 of them. Overall it was a bit small and not enough to do . It closes at 6 so a sauna and relaxation after a day at work is not possible not ideal.

    Very Good
The spa thermal facilities were a bit jaded and limited. The massages were very good and the staff friendly. When I booked the spa day Sophie was very efficient and professional.

    Good
Money allowance for dinner reservation was good however did not get to spend full amount. When waiter asked us if we would like anything else we said the desert menu with his reply being chefs will be mad if they have to cook anything after 10:15. We finished our food for 10pm and he didn’t ask if we would like anything else until 10:30pm. Then our drinks bill was £38 for 4 vodkas and cokes. We didn’t ask for grey goose vodka but that’s what he gave us. What we had left on the food bill wasn’t even allowed to come off the drinks. Breakfast was buffet breakfast is arriving at 9:30am and they started clearing everything away at 9:50. So we didn’t get our money there either. The spa was good. The rooms were nice but lifts were broken and huge pipes and a noisy heater was a bit concerning. Wrong location next to train station and didn’t expect £25 for parking after paying £280 to stay.
