    Good
The treatment itself was lovely and the staff were incredibly helpful. There was children everywhere splashing around due to it being Easter. The hotel said it’s more of a hotel than a spa. They also forgot to book our afternoon tea, this was refunded. Unfortunately the experience was so bad we didn’t even stay for our glass of bubbles or dinner - this wasn’t refunded but we could stay any longer surrounded by the screaming. We decided even though we paid for it all to leave and pay to go for dinner elsewhere. The chairs surrounding the pool were upright chairs and the hot tube area was inter connected to the main pool which meant it was cold and children were also aloud access. The toilets were dirty with used sanitary were places on the main toilet. Really dreadful experience.

    Very Good
The treatment area was modern, clean and inviting. A very relaxing experience. We were not given any information on products used during our facials, but otherwise our therapists were friendly and took great care of us. The pool area and changing rooms would benefit from a deep clean and some maintenance works to water damaged wood areas to bring it online with the general appearance of the hotel and the spa which was immaculate. The reception staff to the pool area were cool and service was perfunctory, with the exception of one young gentleman who was welcoming and friendly. He struck me as fairly new in his role.

    Good
The spa building is a bit run down with the changing rooms in particular in need of some tlc, similar to a leisure center and for the price we expected it to be nicer. There was a small pool with a jet pool in one corner, steam room and sauna room. It would also be nice if there were refreshments available by the pool, cucumber/lemon water. The treatments were very good, I recommend the deep tissue massage. The staff mixed up our treatments which resulted in two of is having to switch treatment rooms even though I'd booked under each name. The afternoon tea was in the main building, the food was lovely, if the service was a little distracted/ slow.
