    Very Good
The Spa staff were fantastic and the treatments amazing. Relaxing and value for money. The only complaint was by the time we had our massage the relaxation room had no hot water to make a cuppa. The hotel pool facilities were not as luxurious as I expected and we didn't get the promised slippers but Chloe was a pleasant host and resolved our keycard issues.

    Poor
This was not a great experience overall but I must stress how nice and friendly and welcoming the therapists were on the day. Especially the lady who did the deep tissues massage ( sadly didn't get her name). My friend had this lady for both the message and leg treatment. My leg treatment did not seem as thorough as my friends but I do think the therapist was being cautious due to my medical condition and so is not a big deal. I had tried to contact the spa multiple times before booking and after booking through this website. No answer on the phone from hotel reception or the spa for two days of trying. No response to answer machine messages.eventually I got through to the hotel reception at 8.45 pm on the Sunday and the lady promised to get the spa to call me back in the morning. They didn't so I rang again around 11 and this time got through. I needed to speak to them as I am going through cancer treatment and needed to check suitability. I booked this with a friend and they scheduled the treatments for one at a time one after each other so we didn't see each other for more than a few minutes over two hours and multiple therapists were working that day. On arrival we got towels, robe and slippers and went to the changing rooms. These are very dated and the pool area is extremely dated. There appeared to be a whirlpool or jacuzzi but this was empty. I cannot stress enough how cold the pool was. So we only used the sauna and the steam room and spent the rest of our time in the spa lounge which was warm and relaxing. We spent about twenty minutes there together before the fist treatment time and after making herbal tea and sitting down, a very large wasp fell out of a light fitting onto the table next to us and started flying. So I want to the hotel reception which is closer to the lounge than the spa reception. The said I would have to go to the spa for help. They didn't offer to call for me so I had to walk back to the spa reception to get some help. Like I said, our treatments were great but the spa experience itself is not worth the price here, even with the discount. Several other customers were taking refuge in the lounge waiting for treatment and there seemed to be general confusion around treatment times and things did not seem to be running smoothly. We won't come back here although I will always consider the massage one of the nicest I have had.

    Good
Overall I wasn’t fully impressed with my spa experience. On arrival, there were 3 receptionists behind the desk and none of them said anything to me and continued to finish what they were doing on the computer first. Im sure it didn’t take 3 people to do the task. The girl that showed me around was lovely and welcoming. The steam room was cold for the full duration of my spa day, as I went back to check throughout the day. The spa waiting area/room was also cold for half of the day but eventually someone put the heating on. The treatment room was also pretty cold even with the blanket over me. The woman that gave the body massage and facial was nice and friendly. I then went on to have my afternoon tea, again the room was freezing! No one was there to see to me. I had to go and find whoever was supposed to be dealing with the afternoon tea. The actual afternoon tea was good though. When it came to leaving the spa for the day, there were 2 people at the desk, one didn’t even look at me and the other just said “put your robe in there” and pointed to the basket. Overall, I did not have a very relaxing spa day. How can you possibly relax when every room was cold.

    Very Good
We loved our treatments the massage and facial were fantastic, but the actual pool area and changing rooms were a bit tired and there is also no Jacuzzi as it has been filled in. The steam room was not working either so we had limited things we could do with our day. Afternoon tea was nice with good cake choices but service was a little slow.
