    Good
Me and a friend had a spa day here last week, something we were really looking forward to. There were a few things about the Spa/facilities that were quite disappointing. - We were told that Elemis products were dotted around the spa, and to feel free to test them out. We only really saw one place where they had a display of testers. The two products I wanted to try were both empty. - The floors from the changing room to the pool/sauna/steam room were so slippery it was a miracle we didn’t fall over. - The pool area was purely functional and there was nothing there that made us want to stay around. - Next we went to the relaxation room to wait for our treatment. The lighting in there didn’t really allow for relaxation, not to mention it was quite cold. - We went to the reception to get a coffee. The coffee machine was a mess (limescale all over it) and the water tank was empty. We were left to fill it up ourselves from the bathroom tap. - The bathroom was dirty and there was no toilet paper in one of the stalls. Then it was time for our treatment. This is where our experiences completely differed. My friend had a great experience with her therapist however my experience wasn’t that. - The 55 minute massage was ok, however I was so cold for the duration. My feet were not covered most of the time, until I covered them myself, which the therapist then realised and went to tuck my feet in. My hands were also cold. - During the 25 minute facial, the therapist was sniffiling over me the entire time. This was really distracting. On several occasions I even thought she fell asleep as her hands just rested on my face. - When the treatment was over, without warning she turned on the light and said “ok, thats it” I was totally not expecting that. That took away the last ounce of relaxation I had. On a positive note, my face felt great after the facial, the products were lovely and I was left with a list of the products used in case I wanted to purchase them. The lady at reception was so friendly and helpful. The afternoon tea was delicious and just the right amount of food. Based on my experience, I would not go back, however my friend said based on her experience she would go back.

    Excellent
The massage was very good. The Therapists communication was minimal and she wasnot very welcoming. She only communicated the essential information and did not introduce herself. No friendly greeting. It was a shame as her massage was very good.

    Very Good
The spa itself was a bit dated and there was a really bad smell in the steam room. The treatments themselves however were amazing!
