Hotel Du Vin Exeter

It was 4* as booking was 11:00 with spa breaks then the spa messaged to say sorry it’s gone, no holding time between a conversation that took place 5 mins before I agreed to it. Could have easily have booked up & not had a day we wanted. Food was good but service slow so we didn’t get to swim until after treatments. Newly refurbed pool but jacuzzi jets not working so small swim as quite a small pool. Nice therapist but the treatment was not amazing.

We had a lovely treatment, use of the pool & an afternoon tea. We both thoroughly enjoyed it! If I was to be picky, I'd say that the tea should be served in bone china cups!

went to this hotel as a birthday treat with my daughter for her 30th birthday, we were warmly received at reception we had a coffee at the bar and then had a swim in their pool this was great fun swimming outdoors in a very well heated pool, the changing rooms however were very cold it was a cold day and there seemed to be no heating in the changing/shower room at all, once dried and dressed we went back into the hotel for a hot drink, we then took advantage of the 2 course lunch that was part of the deal, I had coq au vin, it was very nice, my daughters fish dish however had to go back as it was under cooked,this was not a problem and the waiting staff gave us a free drink. After lunch we had a quick walk into town and then had our treatments, a 30 minute massage and a 30 minute facial, both treatments were excellent and I would recommend them to anyone, parking however is a problem with very few parking spaces at the hotel we had to park in a nearby park that cost £12 for the day something to take into consideration for any further visits.
