Family time is fun and enjoyable at this hotel, thanks to its convenient location near sightseeing and shopping as well as in-house leisure facilities to suit all ages. The contemporary leisure club is the place to head to wind down – take a swim with the children in the lovely pool area, which includes a sauna, steam room and plunge pool for added relaxation. Unfortunately The Derbyshire Hotel had actually got our booking wrong having only booked us in for 1 hour (2 treatments) instead of 4 treatments (2hrs). As they were fully booked they couldn't squeeze us in anywhere. The lady behind the desk was lovely and trying her best to come up with a solution for everyone. In the end we were offered to come back another day for the remaining two treatments and use of the facilities. The staff themselves were lovely but they seemed understaffed and could have done with another person. Treatments were amazing and so was the food. The changing facilities were not the greatest or the cleanist and one of the two showers wasn't working properly. Personally and I'm sorry to say this, but I don't think what we exerienced was worth the £99.
