My treatment was amazing and felt so relaxed renovation works going on with spa and changing rooms didn’t effect anything other than I can’t wait to see the improvement

The spa is very dated and tiny. Like every spa, towels on the beds. There are only seven beds. It has to be the smallest facilities I’ve used.

The pool, hot tub and steam room area is very dated and in need of repair. The hot tub wasn't working for the majority of the day and the area was cold as the work man took off the door to the swimming pool and never replaced it, there was a door in the adjourning corridor which was also open letting in the cold air constantly. I understand there was an issue with the heating but no one pre warned us and I spent most of the day feeling damp and chilly. Lunch was lovely, all the staff were pleasant and polite. Bit of a trek up and down the stairs half way across the hotel in the dressing gowns and slippers felt a bit odd and out of place. Can't fault the treatments, Jess was lovely and did a fab job.

The treatment was amazing - we both went for the revitalising spa ritual, and were able to have it in the same room. therapist was very attentive. The Spa itself however was very disappointing. There were very limited facilities compared to many others I have been to that are in the same price range (or even spas in local gyms!): there was 1 pool, 1 small jacuzzi, 1 small steam room, 1 shower head, and a few lounge chairs: no sauna, no hot and cold facilites, no ice fountain, the jacuzzi was very small (very could only fit 3 people at any one time). Lunch options were very poor. Its as advertised as 2 courses, but the options were from starters and desserts from the hotel's full menu (no mains), and a couple of sandwiches. Also after making our food order well in advance, it wasn't till we sat down for lunch 3 hours later that we were informed that 2 out of the 4 dishes ordered were not available! We went as a couple so were ok, but this would not be suitable for a group booking (such as a hen do), and definitely would not advertise the venue for it's spa facilities.
