Hotel Spa VenueRooms are elegantly furnished and the hotel has a range of leisure facilities for those aged 18 and over. Children are permitted in the pool at specified swimming times and hotel.

Family FriendlyChildren are welcome at the hotel and to use the pool. Except Monday - Sunday between 11:30 and 2pm and after 7pm when the pool is adults only.

Accessible SpaThe hotel offers some accessible bedrooms as well as wheelchair access to restaurants, the spa, pool and fitness areas. There are disabled changing rooms, a hoist into pool and ramp access to the pool area. Disabled parking is available close to the hotel entrance. Carer goes free to use the leisure facilities.

- We really enjoyed our spa session. The food and service was excellent. We both had a facial which was expertly given and very relaxing. The only negative was the steam room was not working on the day we visited. Overall an excellent package though.
- Providing tables and chairs indicates you can buy drinks whilst in the spa. We were told we had to trudge ourselves to the Vardons cafe in our dressing gowns (no service available to get it for us) with a long queue of golfers waiting to be served. After some inappropriate male comments we retreated to the spa with no drinks and embarrassed. After complaining four times to different staff they finally relented. This spoiled our visit and relaxation - this should be a service provided, there were enough staff around and it wasn’t busy. The manor is very large and therefore a bit soulless in the restaurant and both bars. Such a shame. The staff were generally friendly.

- The food was good xceptional. Very well presented with a good choice. The staff were really helpful too. I stay in a lot of hotels with my work and was really impressed by this Manor.
- The hotel is beautiful, the building and grounds are stunning. The staff were, on the whole, helpful and friendly. The food is decidedly average for such a prestigious hotel, I was served undercooked pasta, the food choices are limited. It would be nice to have some walks around the grounds, I have been to other golf hotels where there are lovely walks around the grounds!! Saying all that we had a lovely stay.
- Two twin rooms were booked for a group of 4 ladies, we arrived early so that we could use the spa facilities . when we went to reception to check in at 3pm only one of the rooms was ready and we were told someone would call us when the other room was available, that didn’t happen, we had treatments booked at 5.30 so we went back to reception afterwards and still had to wait a further 15 mins before the room key was made available approx 7.00pm. The lunch we had on the day of arrival (paid by us on the day) was very poor - we did complain about these issues and were compensated with a free bottle of wine at dinner. The rest of the food we had which was included in the package was very nice indeed
- Very disappointed in the bar and restaurant closing at 11pm for in house residents. Also can’t see the point in booking a Time when we had to wait to be seated. Waiting in the bar area at a table we were seated at for over 20 minutes and not being served was ridiculous. Short staffed so as difficult as it was for them possibly shouldn’t be taken walk ins in this situation.
