    Very Good
Overall me and my daughter really enjoyed our stay . Staff went above and beyond to make our stay as relaxing as possible . Great choice for breakfast ( could be hotter but apart from that the staff were very attentive ) nothing was too much trouble at all . Oh and the toaster is rubbish so that needs replacing as our toast was only toasted on 1 side 🤣 . Our evening meals were nice , I ordered fish & chips . The batter was a bit too thick so had to scrape the soggy batter off the inside but the outside batter was Devine . The fish tasted so fresh . Daughter ordered the steak which she enjoyed apart from a few chewy bits that she left . We had pate ( delicious 🤤) then dessert was choc fudge cake which came out clap cold ( normally it’s warm . We then retired to the bar for a few drinks and asked for a cocktail menu which we were told they couldn’t do which was a shame as the bar could have been well equipped to do Co tails but I heard it’s recently changed hands so maybe they might do this in the future . Following night I ordered the 4 cheese pizza which I asked the waitress ( who was lovely ) if chef could add some garlic butter , she went off to ask and came back to be told “ chef said she’s not willing to put garlic butter on it “ 😳 , daughter ordered carbonara ( she didn’t enjoy it and she said it tasted more like a cheesy macaroni sauce ) . The spa overall was amazing , the 2 girls who did our massage on the last day were brilliant . The spa lost a point for receptionist Millie who’s attitude towards me was very unprofessional when I asked for a fresh robe as the one I was wearing was soaking wet and we were about to go for our afternoon tea in the cafe . Her attitude was terrible replying with the answer “ there’s only 3 robes left on the shelf and they’re for guests , just waiting for laundry to bring some down “ erm hello 🙋‍♂️ I’m a guest , all I could think to do was grab 2 towels and wrap them round us to try soak up the water from my costume . She then walked up to the beauty end of the spa then walked back with the cleaner who had dozens of robes in clear bags , she walked straight passed us and didn’t even offer us 1 ( tut tut ) . Apart from Millie’s poor attitude all the staff were lovely . Lastly the rooms had everything you needs but defo need modernising as the mattress & pillows were poor quality . Just 1 suggestion regarding the windows would be to Aldi have curtains aswell as blinds so it’s more black out . I’m going to be returning with my husband in the next few months so I’ll be able to see what changes have been made . Hope you take my review as constructive feedback .

    Poor
There was lack of communication from staff. We had to wait around for consultation forms and no one showed us where robes were. The treatment was good but the downside is you don't actually get a 50 minute treatment. It is only 30 minute this is a same problem I had last time at this venue.
